A Decade In History of Online Video
As I live in London I certainly won't be buying a bike from Vespa Soho.
1. We do have bikes available. Ready to roll. We did not, however have the color you wanted on the floor, and because during your research you had found there are different motors, and you wanted to newest. We wanted to make you happy so we prepped a bike that had just come in from the day's before shipment to ensure your satisfaction by getting you the most up to date model.
2. All I can say, is the same thing I said to you in person. I said this to you when we sold you your bike, and I said this again when as you say, I only agreed to look over the bike when you got upset with me.
Vespa Soho is the Sales Dept. Our Service is not Done at the shop but at another location. If there are minor tweaks we have some general know how and will take a look but anything major you can leave the bike with us and we will send it to our other location (within a couple of miles of us) to have it looked at. When you came in talking about the squeaking I fully admit to suggesting blowing out the brakes. As a common problem on many disk brakes is simple dust settling on them. Having spoken to my technicians after this incident i was told that yes. These brakes do tend to squeak.
But back to my point. Any major look over of the bikes would indeed involve us taking a look at the bike at our service station where the technicians are. I offered to take the bike from you several times during this interaction even before the incident in which you say "i backpedalled".
As for the "diagnoses" you keep bringing up first off, My salesperson made a huge mistake in judgement on his part. It was not the technician that that came up with this judgement it was in fact the salesperson who made up this diagnosis. And as much as you seem to hate this response..
NO he is not a technician and neither am I. So neither he, or I should be telling you what we think is wrong. Because we have no place doing so. It's like asking the receptionist at the doctors office to diagnose you if your sick. She may see a lot of sick people coming in. But she still doesn't have the training and knowledge to back up any diagnosis she comes up and it should be taken with a grain of salt.
The fact that you failed to mention I offered to take the bike in at the very beginning of the interaction. Makes me think that you want to rewrite history. You did not want to leave the bike with me. The idea of being without it for a day so we can send it to the tech and ensure that the bike is in good working order (which if your really concerned about your safety I certainly would have done) Negates the whole story of us trying to "avoid work".
Anyway, I'm sure you'll take this post as combative and I do hope you leave it up and do not delete it and instead respond to it if you feel what i say is in error.
Finally, I hope that once you have calmed down you will accept my apology for the way my employee scared you. ( he already got reamed out by me for making up diagnosis when he has no place to ). And i still stand by the same as i've said from the beginning... I want you to bring the bike in so that we can check everything over and make sure it is safe and working properly.
I love riding and I work at a scooter/bike shop because i love to spread the joy of riding. I want you on your bike and happy to be on it. If we got off on the wrong foot I apologize but I want you to be riding having a blast on the bike.
