The choose-your-own-news feature was something I really enjoyed and that I think similar shows should try to employ. It's user-driven and allows viewers to have even more control over what they want to watch (I wrote a little about this here: http://www.tilzy.tv/news/20...

I know you link to all of your RB topics below your vid, but being able to jump from Joanne's coverage of one topic to the next would be a cool feature to have. I guess Viddler does this to a certain extent, but it's not as easy to use, nor elegant as what was The 9.

Re: Dembot - Yahoo 9 Ends Run

This is a surprise though, right? Ok I just found it on YouTube... That's pretty bad. The girl moves her torso more than people move their torso normally... Which I guess is supposed to be the "I'm a wacky fun girl" torso shake. Actually that also kinda helps me pin what was so unsettling about this video: http://www.youtube.com/watc... Hilary @ 1:13 ... doin' the uncomfortable "I'm a wacky fun girl" torso shake.

Re: Dembot - Yahoo 9 Ends Run

I assume there were all talented people on the production (I never heard from anyone or noticed anyone at any conferences or on any blogs, twitter, etc). Perhaps there was no energy or spark to glue everyone together and provide direction. It felt like it was trying to emulate MTV, but without any creativity.

Re: Dembot - Yahoo 9 Ends Run

    *
2
Years
*
400
Shows
*
3600
Segments
*
76
million Visits
*
9
Websites at a Time

And 2 Drews annoyed.

Good riddance!
